Gen Y leaders poised to make a difference

A tradition of innovation
Providing innovative learning opportunities for diverse populations has long been an important goal for continuing education programs. Now, as Gen Y professionals assume increasingly influential leadership roles, the growth of programming that supports inclusion and equality has become progressively more essential in meeting social and financial goals.
There are many ways that continuing education and workforce training programs promote diversity, for example:
- Training professionals on diversity issues, cross-cultural communications, and emerging cultural, demographic, and technology trends
- Cultural sensitivity, anti-discrimination, and anti-harassment training
- GED and ESL classes
- Lifelong learning for seniors, kids, and families
- Vocational and recreational programs for people with disabilities, low-income, and other special needs.
